School Uniform

What a child wears to school reflects their learning and their attitude towards school. It also portrays the school’s ethos and shared positive values. It is our aim to ensure that all children wear their school uniform correctly and with pride.

Our School Uniform

Our school uniform consists of the following:

  • Black or grey trousers, skirt or pinafore (no tracksuit type trousers or leggings)
  • White polo shirt or white blouse
  • Red sweatshirt or cardigan
  • White or grey socks or red tights
  • Black sensible shoes (no high heels, trainers, Flossies, canvas shoes/boots, UGG boots, flip flops or sandals)

During the summer months a red/white gingham checked dress or short black or grey trousers can be worn.

Wellies are great to wear to come to school in bad weather and are also needed for Forest School however they should not be worn all day. Shoes must be brought into school to change into.

Our PE Uniform

Each class will have PE one day every week. Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on their PE day.

Our school PE Kit consists of the following:

  • A plain red T shirt
  • A red school jumper
  • Plain black or blue jogging bottoms, shorts or leggings
  • Trainers

For health and safety reasons, all earrings should be removed before school and all long hair must be tied back.

Football kits and brightly coloured tracksuits must not be worn.

Hair

Hair that is below shoulder length should be tied up.

No extreme haircuts including Mohicans, spikes, shaved decorations or bright colours are allowed.

Children may be asked to remove hair decorations if they have an impact on learning.
