Our Summer Fun Day was a huge success. Well done to Year 5 and Year 6 who ran the events brilliantly!

Some of our staff took part in the Colourama Run for St Cuthbert's Hospice. We had our photographs taken for the newspaper. Thank you to everyone who sponsored us, we raised a fantastic £262!

Our families came in to decorate eggs for our annual Easter Egg competition

Our new 20mph zone signs have been installed on Renny's Lane and Mill Lane. The competition winners had their photographs taken for the local newspaper

Jim came in to tell us about his charity Dorothy's Wells. We did lots of water-activities in our classes

Each class did a lap of the school field carrying a cup of water and not spill a drop - "a drop of water, a drop of gold!"

KS2 found out more about Parliament during a visit from our local MP, Roberta Blackman-Woods. Years 3 and 4 took part in a Parliamentary debate then Years 5 and 6 devised their own laws.

The strong winds damaged some of the trees on our KS2 field so we took the opportunity to start to develop our outdoor prayer space

We ended the Autumn Term with our traditional Carols Around the Tree concert

KS1 and KS2 performed, "Christmas Memories." It was brilliant and everyone did St Hild's proud! Well done!

In Key Stage Two, we took part in "My Teacher is a Vampire" with the Durham Enterprise Team and representatives from the local community

Judith from Durham County Council Road Safety team came into school to tell us about the 20mph zone that is being introduced on the roads around our school.

We came to school wearing our pyjamas on Children in Need Day. We found out how the money we donate helps other people.

In Key Stage One, we had a reading afternoon with our families.

Great news! We've been awarded the Woodland Trust Gold Award for our eco work!

Congratulations to our Blue Peter Badge winners who won their special awards for encouraging others to take up an Olympic Sport - Water Polo!

We held our annual School Council elections. 4 candidates from each class presented their manifesto before everyone voted

Each class shared their hula hooping skills at the end of our Hoopstarz day with Tracey. It was brilliant!

Pottery club painted their Fishy Dishys during Golden Time

We raised an AMAZING £640 for the NSPCC. Rachel came in to present our certificate and our badges. Thank you to everyone for your support. Well done St Hild's!

We launched Golden Time to reward positive behaviour. Look at all of the fun activities we can choose.

In KS2, we are completing a weekly running challenge with Tim, our Play Leader.

We raised just over £200 during our annual Macmillan coffee afternoon. Thank you to everyone who came to support us.
