Welcome back everyone. We hope you have all had a wonderful Easter break and are ready for the new and exciting experiences awaiting you this term.
Please remember that we are always happy to speak to you about your child and their time at school. If there is anything you would like to talk to us about, please tell us and we will arrange a suitable time to do this.
We are really looking forward to the term ahead. We have got lots of exciting activities planned and we know this is going to be another fantastic term with lots of new experiences, including our End-of-Year trip.
We will be visiting the woodland on a Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Children should come to school wearing tracksuit bottoms or leggings on those days.

Our topic for the Summer Term is:
One Moment In Time
During this topic, the children will learn about the life cycles of: frogs, butterflies and chickens.
We are really excited that we will once again be getting an incubator and ten Living Eggs, these will be arriving on Tuesday, 7th May. This is always an amazing opportunity for the children to learn about life cycles and to be able to look after the baby chicks for a few days.
They will also learn about the life cycles of plants; they will plant seeds and find out what seeds need to grow. We will use the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk' to introduce our learning about plants.
This topic will also be a good opportunity to celebrate the special moments in the lives of the children; we are really looking forward to our End-of-Year trip which will be a wonderful experience.
We will also be taking part in Sports Day and helping the children to understand the changes they will face as they transition to Year 1.
