Seaside Rescue

We will learn about the life of a famous person from our local area, Grace Darling and why she was important. As part of our Geography work, we will explore beaches and compare Seaham with St. Lucia.
Reading in Year 2
It is very important that you practise your reading as much as possible at home. Try to read for 10 minutes every night. When you have read your reading book, ask your parents to sign it and bring it back to school where you will earn a Dojo point. If you read 3 times in one week, you will win a prize from the treasure chest. If you read 5 times in one week, you will win a prize from the treasure chest and earn a Shine Bright Dojo for 5 points!
