Welcome to Year 3 in the Summer Term. This term, we are learning all about the Romans and their impact on Britain when they invaded nearly 2000 years ago. As part of our topic, we will be reading 'Romans on the Rampage' by Jeremy Strong.
Year 3 had a brilliant time at Hild Bede College on Wednesday, 20th March. The children were invited to take part in an Easter Egg Hunt but there were lots more fun activities for them to join in with, including making Easter cards, colouring in Easter pictures, hunting for Easter signs in the garden and a physical activity based on an Easter story that wore us all out! It was a great afternoon, especially as the children were given an Easter egg to take home!
