Welcome to Year 2/ Rosen Class!
We are super excited to see all of the fantastic work that is to come in the Spring Term!
We will be exploring lots of new topics through the curriculum as well as, exploring new text types in our English lessons and learning new maths rules!
Our PE day this half term will be a Wednesday. Please ensure that all children come to school in their PE kit and wearing suitable footwear. Long hair to be tied back and jewellery removed.
We can't wait to see what the next term will bring and how you will be able to shine bright!

Durham Cathedral- We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Durham Cathedral. We enjoyed listening to a story being told about the nativity first. Then we were taken on a tour around the Cathedral and learnt about many of the things there and why they are there. At the end, we also asked some brilliant questions.
PE- This half term we have been doing dance in PE with Gemma from SSP. We have been putting together our own sequences, focusing on movements associated with feelings and the weather. Over the weeks, we have also been learning a group routine, thinking about our movements and positions. We have really enjoyed it!
Church visit- We really enjoyed our church visit this half term. We learnt all about the creation story and the nativity story.
